Naturopathy and Diet Course (NDC)
7 Days residential course

Daily 2-3 hours of Yoga, Meditation, Naturopathy practices (shatkarma) and to realise their impact on different organs of the body. Special Training session of cooking while maintaining naturality and nutritional value of food.

(1) Health through Diet and Nutrition
(i) What is Health? Physical, mental, social, economical and spiritual well-being
(ii) Food groups and their metabolism
(iii) Concept of Balanced Diet
(iv) Management of major diseases/disorders through diet and nutritional planning e.g. Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, Constipation, Thyroid, Endocrinal Imbalance, Arthiritis, Stone formation, Liver problems, Respiratory problems, Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia etc.
(v) Factors affecting food selection – life style, family, culture, technological development, equipments, transport, socio-economic status, government control, nutritional information and misinformation, education system, influence of advertisement on food choice, marketing and food development.
(vi) Factors affecting changes in food style – skill, time, energy, motivation, knowledge, money, age (children, adult and elders), will power.
(vii) Difference of food requirement (calories and food groups) according to age and activity.
(viii) Personal and social primary health care – safe drinking water, sanitation and environment, nutritional diet, immune system, treatment of injuries and common illnesses, maternal and child care, life style, character, community services for disease prevention, social service in the field of health, education and cultural values.

(vi) Hydro Therapy – Therapeutic properties of water, effects of water on body, principles of hydro therapy, methods of water use, various baths – Hip bath, Sitz bath, Steam bath, Spine bath, Hot foot bath, Hot and cold pack, types of Enema.
(vi) Mud Therapy – Therapeutic properties of mud, effect of mud on body, various mud packs, mud bath.
(viii) Importance of sun light. Sun bath
(ix) Chromotherapy – effect of VIBGYOR colors on our body, methods of charging air, water, oil etc. in VIBGYOR colors and light.
(x) Importance of Air
(xi) Types of Massage. Use of different herbal oils for the treatment of different disorders

(3) Ayurveda
(i) What is Body according to Ayurveda?
(ii) What is Mind according to Ayurveda.
(iii) What is Soul according to Ayurveda?

(v) Constituents of Health Regimen (swasthya vrit) – (a) Daily Regimen (dincharya), (b) Night Regimen (ratricharya), (c) Celibacy (brahamcharya).
(vi) Living and eating according to seasons (ritucharya)
(vii) Principle of three humours theory (tridosha) – wind (vatta), bile (pitta), and phlegm (kapha).
(viii) Ethical Regimen (achar rasayan) – Character is influences the glandular and harmonal functioning.

Eligibility:
Understanding of English Language, Desirable knowledge or willingness to learn Hindi Language, Interest in Yoga and Health.

Course fee :
US $ 600 equivalent sum in INR which includes boarding, lodging, daily meals etc. at the venue. The participant shall arrange their travel upto venue. However, on demand, pick up facility can be arranged from New Delhi airport to the venue on extra charges basis.

Venue :
The venue for these courses shall be arranged by us at Rishikesh, (India) or any other convenient place ensuring peace and spiritual atmosphere.

Group formation :
Minimum 10 persons belonging to a group, organisation, institution or area can form their own group to undertake the study of anyone of the courses.

E-course of 16 mailing lessons
In case it is not feasible for you to join us for this course of 7 days at Rishikesh in India, you can opt for e-course by registering with us for the purpose.
Lessons by mail and skype class :
Thereafter we will start mailing various chapters of this course as per frequency choosen by you (daily or after 3 days). You can have a class with a teacher appointed for the subject on skype or whatsapp at your option.
e-course fee : US$ 120 equivalent sum in INR.
MOVE certificate shall be awarded on the completion of the course.
